business over 40 years ago. During the course of his career he has
achieved much success. In 1961, he was one of the founding members
of the MDNA, a prestigious association of machinery dealers. He
has personally been involved with the auctioning and liquidating
of over 800 companies, both nationally and internationally. Gerry
was also involved in the largest auction in history – Massey
Ferguson in Germany. He is the driving force of Asset Sales.
Lance W. Mannion - Vice President & Lead
Auctioneer
Lance is the youngest son of Gerry and our lead auctioneer. He
started in the auction business at the tender age of twelve
selling concessions at his father’s auctions. Later he moved into
plant preparation as a field supervisor. This experience gave him
a great understanding of the auction process. Today Lance is one
of
the best auctioneers around, always sharp and attentive to the
action on the auction floor.
Mike Stewart - Vice President of Sales
Mike joined the Asset Sales team in 2002 and has been a valuable
asset from the start. He specializes in dealing with plants that
are in bankruptcy proceedings or that are trying to avoid
bankruptcy. Mike is in contact with many trustees, lawyers and
judges to help them find the best solution for their clients.
You’ll also often find Mike on the auction stand next to Lance as
our trusty clerk!
Kim Harris - Accounting
Kim is the smiling face you see in the auction office! She has
